Antique Maple/Beech
This is not your average gym floor. Our unique mix includes warm blonde Maple, red-brown American Beech, with some occasional Sycamore and Birch added for good measure. All these hardwoods have a similar grain structure so they blend together just right.

Antique Hickory
This super hard and durable wood routinely destroys our planer blades! Antique Hickory has an open grain similar to oak and its color ranges from creamy yellow brown to medium brown with frequent dark mineral streaks and striations.

Antique Poplar
A forest giant and beloved shade tree, Antique Poplar is still fairly plentiful in old buildings. Its color varies from creamy yellow to green with occasional purple mineral streaks! Interestingly, natural light will slowly mellow these tones to a rich, light brown that will knock your socks off.

Antique Cherry
A favorite furniture wood for generations, American Cherry was rarely used in old buildings and is the hardest to find. Its color ranges from warm tan to pale pink to deep red with darker streaks in some boards. Think of it as fine furniture for the floor.

Antique Walnut
Black Walnut is the most prized of all the native hardwoods and about as hard to find as Cherry. This classic, fine grained furniture wood has rich dark purple/brown heartwood with lighter tan sapwood — a contrast that’s just dynamite.
