A durable floor with casual, rustic appeal, character grade
allows grain and color variation, tight or starcracked knots,
and other natural character marks.

Select is our highest grade, ideal for formal settings. It is made
from the finest lumber and is virtually clear of knots.
For a rich and elegant floor; choose select grade.

Red Oak
A popular choice for a versatile floor at an excellent price.
A very hard wood with light reddish brown coloration and
bold grain.

Wormy Red Oak
Along with occasional knots and character markings, this grade
has small wormholes scattered across its surface, giving
it a look reminiscent of Antique Wormy Chestnut.

White Oak
Very hard, with a light golden brown color. A prized wood historically
used for building frames, ship timbers, and of course flooring.
Quartersawing reveals the distinctive tiger striping, or
medullary rays.

Cherry
Elegant, medium hard, possessing fine grained, warm reddish
brown appearance that darkens considerably over time and
with exposure to light.

Walnut
Naturally rich, dark brown when finished with occasional light
cream to golden highlights. A prized furniture and cabinet
wood.

White Pine
A favorite New England softwood. A very creamy
white grain. Develops a warm honey brown patina over time.

Hickory
The hardest of eastern hardwoods, this wood ranges in color
from cream to warm medium brown.

Heart Pine
A longtime popular wood wherever Yellow Pine forests existed.
We carefully select for 50-60% heart content. The most durable
