Hand Hewn Antique Beams
Historically hand hewn beams were created by hand with an axe from a round log. This age old method of squaring timbers produced beams with unique texture and remnant axe marks, clearly exhibiting the early craftsman's skills. Used extensively in barns and log structures, these beams are carefully salvaged, selected and inventoried by The Woods Company for their unique rustic beauty and soundness.
