The Woods Company offers factory prefinishing of our Antique and Traditional plank flooring in quantities of 500 square feet or more.

Prefinishing may be the logical choice for projects where the installation schedule does not allow for the time required to sand and finish, or where sanding dust or fumes from the drying finishes pose an issue.

The Woods Company offers 2 types of finishes, depending on how much traffic or use the floor receives. Our "standard" finish is a 3 coat, UV cured, satin finish, suitable for most typical residential applications. We also offer a 7 coat, "high abrasion", scratch resistant finish, for active households or light commercial projects.

Much like a typical site finished floor, these finishes can be professionally recoated in later years, if needed.

Prefinishing adds up to 2 weeks to our average 4 week production time frame.
