Crown Grade For an exceptionally elegant floor, choose Crown. This grade has 100% dense grained heartwood, with few to no nail holes and very infrequent small knots, no larger than 1" in diameter. We also offer Rift and Quartered grain for the most dramatic effect. Crown Grade is available in limited quantities - please call for availability.

Select Grade Our most popular grade, Select, has all the characteristics that make Heart Pine such a classic. It contains 90-100% dense grained heartwood, with very infrequent nail holes, tight knots no larger than 1 1/2" in diameter, and occasional hairline checks. It is suited to any style from traditional to modern.

Character Grade This grade is most suited for a casual and rustic look, and is more readily available in wide widths than our select grade. With varying grain patterns, 70-100% heart content, and a scattering of knots, nail holes, and hairline checks, this handsome, durable floor has country character.
